Foster + Partners has designed the interiors of Battersea Roof Gardens’ 436 residences to reiterate the condominiums’ contemporary, free-flowing exterior. Cool, open-aspect living spaces make the most of the floor-to-ceiling glass, reflecting the natural light and appealing to residents with a penchant for the modernist sensibility. Two palettes are offered: “Steam” ushers in calming beige cabinetry and splashbacks in the kitchen, a strip of ivory back-painted glass tiles in the bathroom, and brushed brassware. Meanwhile, dark grays and polished chrome characterize “Cloud”—a broodier but just as stylish color arrangement.

Amenities in the sky lounge on the 14th and 15th floors of Battersea Roof Gardens include a private cinema, work areas and meeting rooms, lounges and dining rooms with awe-inspiring views of the London skyline, a gaming area with a pool table, and a cocktail bar.
