Turnberry Ocean Club Residences
Sunny Isles Beach, Miami
18501 Collins Ave, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160, USA
Sprawling residences with views for days, resort-style amenities, including a three-story sky club, the beach at your doorstep, and Downtown Miami and South Beach a short drive away—Turnberry Ocean Club Residences is the Miami you’ve been dreaming of. It offers privacy and access in equal measures, a tranquil retreat, and an opportunity to socialize, but always with an eye to the location, with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Biscayne Bay to the west. Of particular note: two cantilevered pools on either side of the tower offer the opportunity to watch the sunrise and the sunset every day.

www.turnberryoceanclub.comAbout Turnberry Ocean Club Residences
A collaboration between Venezuelan American architect Carlos Zapata and Miami-based Swedroe Architecture, this glittering glass tower rises 54 stories and 640 feet above sea level. Its height and a slight curve to its silhouette help set it apart. But the most distinctive feature by far is the Sky Club in the center. It acts as a sort of cut-out—an interruption of concrete and glass—making the building feel even taller but also lighter and airier. The triple-height lobby with ocean views has a similar effect.
Just north of Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles Beach is an exclusive enclave where luxury resorts line a two-mile stretch of pristine sand. With the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west, the barrier island has a quiet, intimate vibe that feels far removed from South Beach and Downtown Miami. Of note are the area’s parks, including Samson Oceanfront Park, Senator Gwen Margolis Park, and, to the south, the 177-acre Haulover Park.
There are 154 residences, and all of them are palatial. They run the gamut from 3,110 square feet to 10,750 square feet. A select few are duplexes, with 20-foot-high ceilings and terraces with pools and hot tubs. But all have flow-through layouts with soaring ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and 11-foot-deep outdoor terraces facing the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Appliances and fixtures are top-of-the-line (Gaggenau, Dornbracht), and direct-entry elevators offer maximum privacy.
In total, there are six floors, 70,000 square feet of amenities, and three pools, including a vanishing pool at the lobby level and two cantilevered pools in the Sky Club. There’s also a cocktail lounge, a coffee bar, a top-floor evening restaurant, a private fitness center, a spa, salons, and even an indoor area to walk pets (in case it’s raining outside). If that isn’t enough, residents have access to a private marina and social membership at the Turnberry Isle Country Club.
