About SkyTower at Pinnacle One Yonge
Topping out at more than 1,028 feet, the appropriately named SkyTower is not only the tallest of a trio of sparkling skyscrapers in Pinnacle One Yonge; it is also the tallest residential tower in all of Canada. Its supertall status is not just a feat of engineering requiring special measures to accommodate the wind pressure but also an architectural balancing act. “It’s a real privilege to design a building this tall and you don’t want it to look awful,” explains David Pontarini, founder partner at Hariri Pontarini Architects.
Located at the intersection of Yonge Street and Queens Quay, Pinnacle One Yonge is a new condominium community on Toronto’s rapidly redeveloping waterfront. With five high-rise towers housing 2,500 residences, 160,000 square feet of retail space, 80,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor amenities, plus 1.5 million square feet of office space, it offers everything you need to work, live, play, and shop. The goal? To offer more: more space, more amenities, more luxury in a prime location that gives residents easy access to Lake Ontario and the rest of Toronto.
This soaring skyscraper will be home to 800 residences, ranging in size from 520 square feet to 2,300 square feet and encompassing a number of ultraluxury collections, including the Sky Villa collection, the Vista collection, and the Landmark collection.
