Aston Martin and G & G Business Developments teamed up with Revuelta Architecture and BMA to execute their vision for a soaring glass and steel tower overlooking Biscayne Bay. At 66 stories, the building is Miami’s tallest, with a curved sail-like profile that complements the setting. A dramatic cut-out at the top allows for four floors of amenity space and an exclusive collection of penthouses.
Bordered by booming Brickell and up-and-coming Edgewater, Downtown Miami is a combination of high-rise skyscrapers and bayfront parks, restaurants and bars, and world-class museums and performance halls—nearly all with spectacular views of Biscayne Bay. Mixed-use developments like the $2 billion Miami Worldcenter and Museum Park, home to the Perez Art Museum and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, have made Downtown one of the city’s most exciting places to live and play.
Aston Martin’s chief creative officer and design head, Marek Reichman, was directly involved in the design of the common spaces, which feature leather, chrome, and luxury hardwoods. Instead, Reichman says, it’s more about a feeling: “What you will get is exactly what you will get sitting in an Aston Martin DB11 on a long journey, and that is a sense of involvement and comfort,” he says. Case in point? The 391 residences, from spacious studios to five-bedroom apartments, are designed to be both beautiful and livable, with open spaces, maximum light, and exquisite craftsmanship.
To say that the scope of the amenities is impressive is an understatement. There are 42,275 square feet of common spaces, spanning four floors and including two lobbies, a bilevel fitness center with bay views, a spinning studio, a boxing gym, a full-service spa, an infinity pool, and more. Then there’s the private marina, designed to accommodate superyachts, the private fleet of Aston Martins, and, for certain residences, a custom-designed Aston Martin DBX. It’s all part of the exclusive Aston Martin experience.
