In the East Village, 14 Second Avenue Launches Sales on Its Full-Floor Residences

In Manhattan’s East Village, the Hustvedt Cutler Architects-designed boutique building at 14 Second Avenue has launched sales on a selection of its 10 full-floor residences. Three apartments are currently listed on the market, with prices ranging between $3.095 million for a second-level home to $3.64 million for a penthouse abode.

The residences at 14 Second Avenue are each accessed via a private elevator and showcase open floor plans with multiple exposures that optimize natural light. There are also floor-to-ceiling windows, wide-plank European oak floors, contemporary kitchens with custom Italian cabinets and a 23-bottle wine cooler, and in-unit washer/dryers. 

The two- to three-bedroom residences range in size from 1,478 to 1,673 square feet, with asking prices starting around $2.76 million, while penthouse residences feature 1,478 square feet of interior space and private outdoor spaces for just under $4 million.

14 Second Avenue is anticipated to complete construction in March, with immediate occupancy slated for spring 2023.

Light-Filled Home in Bjarke Ingels-Designed Coconut Grove Tower Seeks $12.4 Million

A nearly 5,000-square-foot abode within the Bjarke Ingels-designed Grove at Grand Bay condominium has listed for $12.4 million, Realtor.com reports. The apartment is owned by former Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi, who is ranked among the world’s most powerful women.

The home is one of 98 within the twisting development and offers five bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a private elevator entrance, and stunning ocean views. New York City-based interior designer Joe Serrins crafted the 18th-floor pad with shades of gray, beige, and white, paired with pops of orange and navy blue. A private deck spans the length of the home, and the sale includes a private garage with two parking spots.

Robert A.M. Stern’s West Chelsea Condominium Shows Off New Model Residence 

A new model residence has been unveiled at The Cortland, the 25-story waterfront condominium building designed by Robert A.M. Stern and Olson Kundig in West Chelsea. Residence 12A was designed by interior design and staging company Vesta and features four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and more than 3,000 square feet of space, with a $10.95 million asking price. 

With a focus on simplicity, the model residence is furnished with neutral colors, warm woods, and eye-catching colors that don’t distract from the apartment’s stunning views. “We meticulously selected furniture from our collection with clean, simple lines to stand the test of time, along with utilizing luxe fabrics and textured materials to elevate the space and add a depth of comfort and luxury,” says Sara McCarthy, designer at Vesta Home.

The open layout accommodates a 29-foot corner great room, floor-to-ceiling windows, a windowed eat-in kitchen with custom finishes, and unobstructed views of the Hudson River. Residence 12A is one of The Cortland’s 144 one- to five-bedroom homes.

Miami’s Fully Integrated Luxury Wellness Residences at THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands Launch Sales

THE WELL has partnered with Miami-based development firm Terra to craft a six-story luxury condominium that is being touted as the nation’s first fully integrated wellness residence. THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands will feature 54 branded residences and is the brand’s first real estate project. Sales have already launched on its one- to four-bedroom residences, with layouts spanning between 924 to 3,291 square feet and prices starting at $1.3 million.

The Arquitectonica-designed building will include interiors by Meyer Davis and boast an impressive 20,000 square feet of amenities with wellness and holistic lifestyles at the focal point. The apartments will include light-filled layouts with “UV Light protectant windows that filter harmful UV rays and state of the art sound proofing to ensure a quiet night’s sleep,” “energetically charged crystals in the foundation with the opportunity for tenants to have their areas cleansed by one of THE WELL practitioners prior to occupying it,” and self-care spaces with Zen meditation nooks.

An ultramodern fitness center encompasses 13,000 square feet and is accompanied by other amenities like two rooftop decks with a pool and hot tub, a reading room, greenhouse-style work pods, and a tea lounge.

The mixed-use development will also include 98,420 square feet of luxury office space across four floors, where tenants will be able to individually design their work areas to fit their mental health and physical needs.

It is accessed via a direct elevator and showcases a stunning 40-foot living room with more than 60 windows, herringbone floors, a windowed eat-in kitchen, and a central staircase that leads to the upper level’s primary bedroom suite and great room with a gas fireplace. The nearly 1,900 square feet of private outdoor space gives way to four terraces, a heated pool, and a hot tub.
