In Miami Luxury Developments, Concierge Medicine Steals the Spotlight

With COVID-19 continuing to be an issue worldwide—and health continuing to be top of mind—many of Miami’s luxury developments have launched on-property concierge medical care and wellness centers. These forward-thinking projects are reenvisioning what a post-pandemic living environment could look like, allowing residents to monitor and improve their health, all without ever stepping foot out of the building.

Legacy Hotel & Residences
The new Legacy Hotel & Residences just unveiled plans for the Center for Health & Performance, an eight-floor health and wellness center and one of the first designs of its kind in the country. Here, residents can pursue preventative surgeries, endurance and recovery fitness training, Eastern healing practices, and more. A “Diagnostic Room” will offer more than 15 health tests, and exclusive membership perks will be available for residents, their guests, and area locals.

2000 Ocean
The homes at KAR Properties’ 2000 Ocean will be stocked with iPads that connect residents to a 24/7 medical concierge service that can take blood pressure, temperature, and, for an additional fee, blood and oxygen levels. Immunity-boosting wheatgrass shots, plus organic snacks and drinks, are available in-room or at the development’s on-site juice bar and café.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach
Residents of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach can make use of a one-year membership for primary and cardiology care with the Agatston Center for Private Medicine. “As health and wellness is a top priority for buyers, we decided to push the limits rather than offering typical health, fitness and spa amenities,” says Ophir Sternberg, founding partner of Lionheart Capital, which developed the building. That means an on-site health concierge who can provide at-home vaccinations, telehealth services, and medical travel insurance. Residents can also seek consultations with the Agatston Center’s physicians via in-person visits, house calls, and more.
Acqualina Resort & Residences
Beyond its award-winning spa, the luxurious Acqualina Resort & Residences in Sunny Isles also hosts physician-led retreats that focus on cellular health using anti-aging and weight-loss strategies. The development recently rolled out The Acqualina Diet, complete with a new menu rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and nutrients.
