Developers Unveil Bal Harbour’s First New Condominium Building in Over a Decade
A new set of renderings shows what developers Related Group, Two Roads Development, and Rockpoint have in store for the anticipated Skidmore, Owings & Merrill-designed condominium building in South Florida’s exclusive Bal Harbour enclave, where 61 sky villas will take shape within a glassy, ovular 275-foot tower that is inspired by a crystalline coral reef. Dubbed Rivage Bal Harbour, the building is the first new condominium development in the Bal Harbour area in over a decade and is expected to offer sales starting at the $8 million price mark, going as high as $64 million for a penthouse.
Designed to provide a single-family-home experience, the residences display open-concept layouts and range from 3,300 to nearly 13,000 square feet. Each home offers in-unit elevator access, custom kitchens with appliances by Wolf and Sub-Zero, oversized terraces with direct views of Biscayne Bay, and private parking spaces.
The tower’s amenity package emphasizes a focus on wellness and includes a fitness pavilion with panoramic views, a hammam spa with plunge pools, a cocktail lounge, a VR game simulator and kids’ playroom, and landscaped gardens.
In Morningside Heights, Claremont Hall Announces Record-Breaking $10.25 Million Penthouse Sale
Claremont Hall, the 41-story mixed-use condominium building designed by Robert A.M. Stern in Morningside Heights, has sold its first penthouse for $10.25 million, setting a record sales price for the neighborhood. Penthouse 41 spans an entire floor with four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, a private elevator entrance, and a gas fireplace. The sweeping home also features European white oak flooring, oversized windows, an open kitchen with a Bosch appliance package, and panoramic views of the Hudson River and Central Park.
Of Claremont Hall’s 165 condominiums, 17 remain available with prices from $1.255 million for a one-bedroom home spanning 706 square feet to $6.75 million for a four-bedroom abode. Amenities include a walnut-paneled library and dining room, a children’s playroom, a creative maker’s room, a residents lounge with a terrace, a fitness center, and a stunning indoor pool.
Downtown Miami’s Casa Bella by B&B Italia Debuts Penthouse Collection
Casa Bella Residences by B&B Italia, Downtown Miami’s forthcoming 56-story condominium tower, has unveiled its striking penthouse collection with architecture by Arquitectonica and interiors by renowned designer Piero Lissoni. The collection is composed of 10 upscale residences, including a pair of dramatic 54th-floor triplex homes that are the crown jewels of the 317-residence building.
Six standard penthouses occupy the 52nd and 53rd floors, with just three homes per floor and square footage ranging from 2,982 to 3,772 and prices from $4.8 million to $6 million. Two duplex penthouses span 4,100 and 4,560 square feet and are priced between $8 million and $10 million, while the two triplex homes feature square footage between 5,432 and 5,900 with sprawling double-height ceilings as high as 23 feet, private rooftop terraces, spa pools, and indoor/outdoor summer kitchens that overlook Biscayne Bay. Prices for the triplexes go between $12 and $13 million.
In Fort Lauderdale, Redeveloped Bahia Mar Complex Will Include 350 Residences
In a joint venture between developers Tate Capital, Rok Enterprise, and Related Group, Fort Lauderdale’s Bahia Mar complex will be transformed into a mixed-use complex that will feature a 256-key hotel by a yet-to-be-selected luxury brand, 60 turnkey condominiums, and an additional 350 residences spread across four towers designed by Arquitectonica.
“Bahia Mar will be transformative, not only bringing considerable revenue to the City of Fort Lauderdale, but also providing its residents with a much-needed live-work-play experience,” said Jon Paul Perez, president of Related. “We’ve been active in this particular submarket for many years and are excited to leverage that experience to help this property reach its full potential.”
As the long-time home of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the world’s largest boat show, the project will also include space for a world-class megayacht marina with 245 slips and feature approximately 87,000 square feet of Class A commercial space, including waterfront offices and restaurants, retail outlets, a Dockmaster building and offices, and a Captain’s Quarters hotel.
Alina Boca Raton Lists Last Available Penthouse for $10.01 Million
At Alina Residences Boca Raton, the massive three-building development taking shape and bringing 303 apartments to the South Florida locale, the last available penthouse at Alina 210 has hit the market for $10.01 million. Penthouse 903, a 6,600-square-foot home, is accessed by a private elevator and offers four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and a den. Ceilings soar 11 feet high, and the kitchen is appointed with a double island and appliances by Gaggenau, a private gym, a sauna, and four private terraces that overlook the city’s skyline.
Alina Residences will comprise three buildings: Alina 200, Alina 210, and Alina 220. Amenities across the expansive campus will include more than three acres of outdoor space and encompass two private rooftop pools, two dog parks, fitness centers, outdoor yoga spaces, salon and treatment areas, and a myriad of entertainment areas.
